The Crookston City Council will meet on Monday night at 7:00 p.m. inside the City Hall Council Chambers.
The Consent Agenda includes approving the proposed meeting minutes from December 27, and all City of Crookston bills and disbursements in the amount of $285,604.72. The Consent Agenda also includes a resolution to approve a payment request for the reconditioning of two-gallon filter pressure vessels for Classic Protective Coating. There will also be resolutions to approve the 2022 gas fitter and cement mason license renewals, and a resolution to authorize the grant contract agreement for violent crime enforcement teams for the years 2022 and 2023. The last resolution on the Consent Agenda is to approve a confidence learning center application permit for lawful gambling at the Crookston Eagles.
The Regular Agenda includes a resolution to approve the amended Lake Agassiz Regional Library agreement, and a resolution to authorize the execution of a Minnesota Department of Transportation Airport Maintenance and Operation Grant contract. There will then be a resolution to authorize the purchase of a directional snowplow loader attachment and increase of the public works department budget. The last item on the Regular Agenda will be the introduction of an ordinance and the first reading of it entitled “Traffic Rules” by adding the definition of Utility Task Vehicles.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the Ways & Means Committee will meet to discuss the Fournet Subordination.
