CROOKSTON CITY COUNCIL, WAYS & MEANS COMMITTEE WILL MEET MONDAY NIGHT

The Crookston City Council and Ways & Means Committee will meet Monday night at 7:00 p.m. at City Hall.  The City Council has a small agenda consisting of only consent agenda items.  Items on the consent agenda are approving proposed July 22 meeting minutes, approving bills and disbursements totaling $474,550.50, approving a resolution to execute a Minnesota Department of Transportation grant for airport improvement, a resolution to enter an agreement with govpay.net for credit card processing and a fireworks permit for August 17 for Ox Cart Days. 

The Ways & Means Committee agenda includes approving the July 22 and August 5 meeting reports, a Small Business Development Center (SBDC) presentation, a Tri-Valley presentation, and a Small Cities Development Program grant request for 111 N Main (True Value) for $20,000.  The committee will also review the following proposed budgets for 2020: IT budget ($174,579), Building Official budget ($127,891), City Council budget ($191,798), Mayor budget ($9,862).
