Jennika Mae Reese, daughter of Sarah Keller Reese and Jerrod Reese, was recently honored with the Outstanding Junior Award (Ages 11-14) for the Crookston Chapter 14 Disabled American Veterans Auxiliary.
Her award was based on volunteering for the Crookston Leo Club, special projects at the Villa sponsored by the local auxiliary, like Make A Difference Day and Valentine’s Day, partaking in Veterans Day and Flag Day ceremonies, and participating in service projects at school and sports, such as picking corn at a local farm and delivering to the local food shelf and Care and Share Homeless Shelter. Reese annually attends Church Bible Camp and is a student at Crookston High School, where she serves weekly as an Instructional Aide to one the local elementary schools and plays in the Marching and Pep band.
