CROOKSTON GIRL’S SWIMMERS FALL TO TRF IN DUAL

The Crookston Pirate Girls Swim team had three first place finishes and three second place finishes, but they didn’t have the team depth as the Thief River Falls Prowlers beat the Pirates 115-51 in a dual at the Franklin Middle School in Thief River Falls.  Many of the Pirates swam in different races than they normally would and turned in some solid times.

Crookston was happy to have Madison Hoiland back in the lineup as she won the 200 IM and 500 freestyle races and she was also on the first place 200 Medley relay and the second place 200 Freestyle Relay.

Mackenzie Aamoth continues to turn in solid swims as they finished second in the 200 Freestyle and she was also on the first place 200 Medley Relay and the second place 200 Freestyle Relay.

Naomi Olson swam the 100 Butterfly, a race that she normally doesn’t race, and finished second place and she was also on the first place 200 Medley Relay team and the second place 200 Freestyle Relay.

Crookston will travel to Fosston on Saturday for the Fosston-Bagley Invite.
