CROOKSTON HIGH SCHOOL CROWNS SNOWFEST ROYALTY DURING WINTER PEPFEST

Crookston High School continued its Snowfest Week festivities with its annual winter pepfest on Thursday in the gymnasium. Thursday’s Snowfest theme at CHS also happened to be Pirate Pride Day, where students were encouraged to dress up in Pirate attire to embrace school spirit.

The fest kicked off with the crowning of CHS seniors Jeremiah Vargus and Halle Winjum as this year’s Snowfest King and Queen. After royalty was announced, all senior winter sports athletes were recognized on the court in front of classmates and staff. The final event was the entertainment competition. The boy’s hockey team performed a very exciting WWE (World Wrestling Entertainment) skit, the girl’s basketball team performed a skit from the “Barbie” movie, the girl’s hockey created an obstacle course in which they competed against each other, and the boy’s basketball team performed “Catch a Grape to Save the World” skit.

The winner of the Snowfest entertainment portion was the girl’s basketball team with their performance of the “Barbie” movie skit.
