Joshua Noyes, a 2011 Crookston High School graduate, was promoted and pinned from a sergeant to a lieutenant in the Minot Police Department. Joshua has been on the force for 13 years and will oversee all the patrol officers.
In 2017, he was honored for his quick actions to save the life of a shooting victim. Noyes was named the Minot Police Officer of the Year in 2019 and has been a finalist several times. In 2020, he was promoted from master officer to sergeant.
He is married to Larissa, has three children, and is the son of Daniel and Ileanna Noyes of Euclid. His in-laws are Lonnie and Linda Olson of Crookston.
