The Crookston High Speech team competed in the 18th Annual Plumber Lions Invitational Speech competition on Saturday, hosted by Red Lake County Central.
Crookston had three placers on the day –
Shayla Azure and Zac Plante finished second in Duo
Meliyah Moore finished second in extemporaneous reading
John Lisov finished third place in humorous interpretation
Eighth-grader Lilly Olmstead and seventh-grader Arley Sinks competed. The team is coached by Brandon Adams.
