The Crookston High School Knowledge Bowl team finished in seventh place in the State Knowledge Bowl competition at Craguns Resort near Brainerd.
The first round of the state competition is the written round, and Crookston scored 36 points, good for third place out of 15 teams. After the five oral rounds, Crookston finished in seventh place, up seven places from last year!!!
Members of the Pirate team are Ben Capistran, Leah Johanneck, Ethan Lanctot, Xavier Mason, and Lily Olmstead. The team is coached by Katelyn Stegman.
