The Crookston Pirate Boys Golf team finished eighth out of nine teams at the East Grand Forks Invitational at Valley Golf Course. Crookston shot a 354 while East Grand Forks won the meet with a 301. Medalist was EGF’s Brody Johnson with a four under par 69.
Garrett Fisher, a junior, shot a one-over 74. He carded four birdies, 11 pars, one bogey, and two double bogies to finish 3rd place.
Tate Hamre, a junior, shot a 86. He had one birdie, four pars, 11 bogies, and two double bogies to finish 39th.
David Dauksavage, a junior, shot a 90. He carded six pars, nine bogies, two double bogies, and one quadruple bogey to finish 46th.
Collin Trudeau, a freshman, shot a 104. He had three pars, four bogies, seven double bogies, three triple bogies, and one quadruple bogey to finish 51st.
Evan Shockman, a junior, shot a 109. He turned in two pars, six bogies, six double bogies, one triple bogey, one quadruple bogey, one five over par, and one six over par to finish 53rd.
Crookston will play in the East Grand Forks Invite on Tuesday, May 20 at the Grand Forks Country Club.
