Pokémon Card Club

Calling all Pokémon Trainers! Join the library for an afternoon of fun including swapping cards, coloring your own Pokémon and participating in a trivia challenge.
Family Fun Yoga Flow

Join Sarah Pester from Burnham Creek Healing on the Mat at the Crookston Library to share some laughs, disconnect from screens, and build a stronger, healthier connection as a family!
STEMsational Tuesday
Tuesday, October 13 at 3:30 p.m.
Explore the wonder of science and art with this monthly program, which is held the second Tuesday of the month.
Nighttime Storytime and Craft
Tuesday, October 13 at 5 p.m.
The library’s special Nighttime Storytime invites families to enjoy stories together and dive into a themed craft project. Children are encouraged to bring their own blankets to stay comfy while they listen.
War Through Her Eyes
Tuesday, October 13 at 6 p.m.
Join the library for a special presentation by Ukrainian UMC student Alina Ivaschenko, describing her experience during the Russia-Ukraine War, including seeking shelter from the nighttime attacks in a neighbor’s cellar, fleeing to the Carpathian Mountains for temporary refuge, and returning to their city where the war was still raging. Please join us for the opportunity to meet Alina, hear her moving story, and view the war through the eyes of someone who has actually lived it.
Loggin’ Legends & More
Wednesday, October 14 at 4 p.m.
Join your library for a fun family-friendly presentation as retired Minnesota educator David Ward brings the colorful history of Paul Bunyan and the logging and lumber industry to life. This program is offered free of charge thanks in part to funding from the Minnesota Arts & Cultural Heritage Fund and is geared for elementary aged children but all ages are welcome.
LEGO Club
Friday, October 16 from 3:30-5:00 p.m.
Take on LEGO build challenges including practicing problem solving, engineering and critical thinking with this monthly event held on the third Friday of the month.
Baby Bounce
Weekly on Tuesdays at 10:30 a.m.
Join the library for songs, stories, and action poems for infants through preschoolers and their caregivers.
Storytime
Weekly on Thursdays at 10:30 a.m.
Each week, the library explores different themes with stories, songs, rhymes, flannel boards, special guests and more! Storytime typically lasts for 45 minutes and is geared for children ages 3-6, although children of all ages are welcome to join the fun.
Tech Help
Weekly on Thursdays at 1 p.m.
Get help from library staff with your technology and electronic device questions weekly on Thursday afternoons. No appointment needed.
The library will be closed on Monday, October 12 for Staff Development. All events are offered free-of-charge and are open to the public. The library is located at 110 N. Ash St. and a full list of events can be found at larl.org/events.
