The Crookston School District is excited to embark on a new journey. Teachers are Learning, Loving, Teaching, and Transforming literacy at Washington and Highland Schools. In this training, teachers will gain a deeper understanding in the science of how all children learn to read through LETRS professional learning. LETRS (Language Essentials for Teachers of Reading and Spelling) training provides the background, depth of knowledge, and tools to teach language and literacy skills more effectively. The district is proud of its Literacy Champions for their dedication to literacy education.
