A familiar name won the Happy Joes Pizza and Ice Cream Parlor pizza eating contest as reigning champion Dan Erdman defended his crown by winning the 2021 contest on Saturday afternoon at the Downtown Square in Crookston.
Erdman ate a large Happy Joes Pizza in 10:19! Erdman won a free medium pizza once a month for the next year from Happy Joes for his accomplishment.
The other contestants were Colton Hermreck and Cole Ricard from the Crookston Fire Department and Dave Grabowski from the Crookston Police Department and Matt Benge from the Polk County Sheriff’s Department.
The Crookston Classic Cruisers Car Show was held at the Crookston Inn.
