Crookston High School students Ethan Boll and Libby Salentine have been honored as the recipients of the 2021-2022 Excel Award. Excel Award recipients at Crookston High School meet the following criteria:
- The student must be a junior in high school.
- The student must be making satisfactory progress toward his or her graduation requirements.
- He or she must be a participant in MSHSL League-sponsored fine arts and/or athletic
- The student must hold a leadership position in school.
- He or she must work voluntarily within the community of Crookston.
- He or she must meet MSHSL General Eligibility Requirements.
Ethan Boll is on the A Honor Roll, participates in the LEO Club, and plays Football, Wrestling, Baseball, and Track and Field. He is also a part of Marching and Pep Band, is a Church Apostle Leader, Youth Ministry National Leader, Altar Server, and Youth Wrestling Coach. Ethan’s parents are Bryan & Melissa Boll.
Libby Salentine is on the A Honor Roll, Yearbook Staff, and is an FFA Officer. She participates in Volleyball, Swimming, Basketball, and Track and Field. She is a Church Youth Group Leader, Youth Volleyball Coach, and participates in the LEO Club. Libby’s parents are Dave & Emily Salentine.
