FOSSTON/BAGLEY/CROOKSTON GIRLS SWIMMERS BEAT CENTRAL AND RED RIVER, LOSE TO TRF

The Fosston/Bagley/Crookston Seal Girls Swim team won two duals and lost one at the Border Battle quadrangular held in Grand Forks on Tuesday night.  Crookston beat Grand Forks Red River 94-75, beat Grand Forks Central 88-78, and lost to Thief River Falls 117-53.  The four teams all swim at the same time, and they take the times, and they take two teams and compare times and give the scoring accordingly, so they race once but have three different results. 

We have how the Crookston swimmers did below – 

Mackenzie Aamoth –
Kenzie was on the fifth-place 200-yard relay team that finished with a time of 2:23.15, and she finished fifth in the 100-yard backstroke with a time of 1:16.37, which was faster than her seed time.  She finished 8th place in the 200-yard freestyle and was also on the eighth-place 400-yard freestyle relay team with a time of 5:08.32.

Chloe Boll –
Chloe had her best finish in the 100-yard freestyle with a second-place finish with a time of 1:00.47.  She finished third place in the 50-yard freestyle with a time of 27.67.  She was on the fourth-place 400-yard freestyle relay team with a time of 4:32.23. Chloe was on the fifth-place 200-yard freestyle relay team with a time of 2:02.84.

Evie Gunderson –
Evie had a sixth-place finish as part of the 200-yard medley relay with a time of 2:35.17.  She also finished seventh place in the 200-yard IM with a time of 3:04.46. She finished eighth place in the 100-yard butterfly with a time of 1:40.46.  Evie was also on the ninth-place 200-yard freestyle relay team.

Fosston/Bagley/Crookston will compete in the North Border Conference meet on Friday, October 28 at Thief River Falls.
