Gary Lee Steinbrink, 65, of Grand Forks, ND, passed away at the Altru Hospital in Grand Forks early Saturday morning, December 5, 2020.
Gary was born in Crookston on June 29, 1955, and was the son of the late Ralph and Luverne (Jasper) Steinbrink. He was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran faith and graduated from Crookston’s Central High School in 1972. Gary was a career over-the-road trucker traveling hundreds of thousands of miles throughout the United States until his retirement.
He leaves a son, Todd (Bridget) Peterson and children, MaKenna and Easton, of Crookston, MN; brother and sister-in-law, Duane and Judi Steinbrink of Crookston; sister, Arlene Jorgensen of Buxton, ND; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Luverne Steinbrink.
A memorial service for Gary Steinbrink will be held at 2:00 pm, Monday, December 14, 2020, in the Stenshoel-Houske Funeral Home, Crookston, with The Rev. Greg Isaacson, officiating. Visitation with the family will be for one hour prior to the service. Inurnment will take place in the Oakdale Cemetery at Crookston.
