Hazel Perras, Hazel PerrasRed Lake Falls, MN, passed away on Saturday, November 23, 2019 at Oakland Park Communities, Thief River Falls, MN.

Mass of Christian Burial will be at 1:00 PM Wednesday, December 4, 2019 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Red Lake Falls, MN with Father Bob Schreiner Officiating and John Bruggeman Deacon.   Burial will be at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Brooks, MN.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church on Wednesday.

Hazel Mae Noyes was born December 1, 1914 at Brooks, MN, the daughter of John and Laura (Lussier) Noyes. She attended school in Brooks and attended Northwest School of Agriculture in 1931. She then attended Erskine High School for her senior year, graduating in 1932. She was employed with Robertson Style Shop and for 10 years at the Red Lake Falls Clinic and the Gazette in Red Lake Falls, for 7 years, she was the Administrator of Hillcrest Nursing Home, Red Lake Falls.

On June 4, 1935, Hazel was united in marriage to Raymond Perras at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Brooks, MN.  The couple lived their entire lives in Red Lake Falls, MN except for the WWII years when they lived in New London, Conn, while Ray served in the US Navy.

Hazel was a member of the Catholic Order of Foresters, and served as Chief Ranger, St. Joseph Church, Red Lake Falls and its Guild and a member of the American Legion Auxiliary. She enjoyed golfing and playing bridge and entertaining. She was an avid letter writer and a fan of the Twins, Vikings and the Sioux Hockey team.

Survivors include several nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by husband Ray in October 1997, parents John and Laura Noyes, brothers Harold, Guy, Vernon and Russell Noyes; sisters Eunice Champagne and Lorraine Barber.
