Mrs. Wolf’s 2nd-grade class and Mrs. Scholler’s 5th-grade class at Highland Elementary School received a special visit from veteran Frank Lindgren yesterday. Lindgren was trying to beat the weather as he came into Highland School yesterday and read the story “Granddad Bud, A Veteran’s Day Story” to the class. He also fielded questions having to do with the military and veterans and got to visit his grandson, Levi Kresl.
