Janice Sandona (Pederson) Wilkinson, 87, Fertile, MN, passed away on Thursday, January 13, 2022, at Fair Meadow Nursing Home in Fertile.
Janice was born on April 29, 1934, at home in Polk County, MN to John and Anna (Simonson) Pederson. She attended country school and also Fertile school through the 8th grade.
Janice was united in marriage to Eugene Wilkinson in Detroit, Michigan in 1953. In the spring of 1957, they moved back to Fertile and raised their family. Janice enjoyed being outside. For a short time, she helped out on the potato machine and she also worked in the Honey House for Monroe Hagen. She always had a smile for everyone.
Janice is survived by her husband of 69 years, Eugene, Fertile, MN; two sons, Rick (Mary), Fertile, MN, and John, Crookston, MN; six grandchildren, Adam (Cathy), Tabitha (Paul) Carter, Heath, Holly (Josh) Bouvette, Kara (Tony), and Austin; and her twin sister, Jeanette Ramstad, Fertile, MN.
She was preceded in death by daughters, Linda and Carolyn; three granddaughters, Sherry, Lori, and DeeDee; and several other relatives.
Memorial Service: 2:00 PM, Friday, January 21, 2022, at Erikson-Vik-Ganje Funeral Home, Fertile, MN.
Visitation: One hour before the service at the funeral home.
