Judith Ione Rockefeller, 75, of Crookston, sadly passed away unexpectedly in Fargo, ND, at Sanford
Medical Center on Friday, February 7, 2025. She was born in Clinton, IA, on June 8, 1949, to parents
Donald and Shirley (Wuske) Jenkin.
Growing up, Judy’s father loved to travel and she lived between Southern California and Albany, Illinois.
She went to Fulton High School in Fulton, IL, and graduated with the class of 1967. In her younger years,
she married and had one child, Patty. A few years after some transitions in her life, and after becoming
single, she met Jonathon Alan Rockefeller and the two married on July 23, 1982, in Santa Rosa, CA. The
couple blended their families, and raised two children together. After getting married, the family
moved around quite a bit, adventure was something Judy always embraced instead of avoiding. She
lived, traveled, and worked in many large cities like Portland, OR, Santa Rosa, CA, Seattle, WA, Dallas, TX,
before finally settling in Crookston, MN.
Judy began working at M&H in Crookston and quickly became a familiar face people would see when
they came into the store. After her time at M&H, Judy moved onto Agassi Credit Union where she
worked until her retirement. Judy was always a woman with a strong work ethic, but mostly because
that provided for the family she loved so much. Family was the biggest aspect in Judy’s life, the children
and her husband always came first and she did everything she could to make sure everyone around her
was well taken care of. She had many talents and hobbies, such as games, was an avid pool player, and
loved to watch movies but had a real interest in the classics. She was the kind of wife and mother who
left an impression in her husband and children that, while she may physically no longer be with them,
her spirit will always remain within them.
May God Bless the memory of Judith Ione Rockefeller.
