Crookston High School senior, Kylie Solheim, signed an NCAA letter of intent to attend and play volleyball at Concordia College in Moorhead next year at a signing ceremony held at the Crookston High School Thursday afternoon. Kylie was an All-Conference player this year and All-Conference honorable mention as a junior. The senior setter was a key player on the Pirate Volleyball team that went 12-14 on the year and won their first playoff match in several years with a win at Thief River Falls in the first round of the Section 8AA Volleyball tournament. Kylie was a leader on and off the floor. “We are all very proud of Kylie and her hard work,” said Pirate Volleyball Coach Ashley Stopa. “We are excited to see her continue her volleyball career at Concordia.”
Concordia will have a new head coach with the recent hiring of Faith Dooley, an all-American player at the University of North Dakota.
