According to Minnesota Statute 244.052, the Crookston Police Department is releasing information regarding Jeremy Woolsey, a Level 3 registrant subject to public notification. Woolsey will move to Crookston on Monday, October 29, 2018. This individual has served the sentence imposed on him by the court and is transitioning into/within the community.
Woolsey engaged in sexual conduct with a 14-year-old female victim. The conduct included sexually explicit online communication and asking the victim for sexual contact. Woolsey coerced and enabled the victim to leave her home without parental permission and harbored her in his home. Woolsey also provided her drugs and alcohol. Woolsey gained access to the victim by meeting her online and arranging to meet in person. Woolsey was not known to the victim. Prior juvenile history of sexual conduct and contact with an 11-year-old male victim. The conduct included showing victim pornography. Contact included sexual touching. Woolsey was known to the victim.
Woolsey will be moving to the vicinity of West 6th Street and North Main Street in Crookston.
