Marlene Carol Monson, 
73, died on Tuesday, February 5, 2019 at her home in Fertile, MN.
Marlene was born on May 21, 1946, in Fertile. She attended Willow Creek School District #37 until the 6th grade when the school closed, after which she attended Fertile-Beltrami School until the age of 16.
She lived on the farm with her parents until her father’s death, after which she and her mother moved to Fertile.
Marlene is survived her brothers, Jerold, Arvid (Priscilla) and sisters Elaine Larson and Joyce (Roger) Priewe and many nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death were her parents: Carl and Myrtle Monson, brother Clayton and his wife Norma, brother-in-law Maynard Larson, and sister-in-law Loretta Monson.
Marlene had a pleasing personality and will be missed by all that knew her, especially her brothers and sisters.
Funeral: Tuesday, February 12, 2019, at 1:00pm at Erikson-Vik-Ganje Funeral Home Chapel, Fertile, MN.
Visitation: One hour before the service at the funeral home.
Burial: Sundal Lutheran Cemetery, rural Fertile at a later date.
