Crookston Pirate Head Girls Golf coach Jeff Perreault is happy to announce Marley Melby as the next Pirate Girls’ Golf Assistant Coach.
Marley (Hanson) Melbye is a Crookston native graduating from Crookston High School in 2007. She was a three-sport athlete while beings a state participant in swimming, basketball, and golf. In college, at the Minnesota State University Moorhead, she continued on the Swimming and Golf Teams.
She currently works at Tri-Valley Opportunity Council, Inc as the Senior Programs Director and High School Swim Coach for the past 12 years. “I am excited to be an assistant coach for the Girls Pirate Golf team,” said Melbye. “I look forward to sharing my love for the game.”
The hire is pending school board approval.
