The Minnesota Primary Election takes place on Tuesday, August 11, with federal, state, and county offices on the ballot throughout Polk County.
For federal positions, nine candidates are running in the Republican primary for U.S. Senate, and six candidates are running in the Democratic-Farmer-Labor (DFL) primary. One candidate is running in the Republican primary for the U.S. Congressional District 7, and two candidates are running in the DFL primary.

The polling location for Crookston in Wards 1, 2, and 6 is St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, 1214 University Avenue. The polling location for Wards 3, 4, and 5 is First Presbyterian Church, 510 N Broadway. Polls will be open from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
