The Department of Minnesota American Legion Auxiliary held its 102nd Department convention at the Wilmar Conference Center in Wilmar, MN, on July 9-11, 2026. Auxiliary members from Crookston, representing the American Legion Auxiliary, Nels T Wold Unit #20, were Margee Keller and Sharon Lanctot.
Robin Dorf of Monticello, Unit 260, Department President of the American Legion Auxiliary, presided. The Honorable Mayor Doug Reese brought his greetings. Honorary Junior President Anastasia Donnelly, a member of Northrup Unit 522, brought greetings from the Junior Auxiliary.
Crookston Unit 20 received the following Certificates of Merit: Veterans Affairs & Rehabilitation, National Security, Poppy, Leadership, Junior Activities, Education, Community Service, Children & Youth, and the Auxiliary Emergency Fund.
Margee Keller received the President’s Award of Excellence for Public Relations. She also ran a successful silent auction for Veterans Affairs and Rehabilitation, raising $5,027 for the Veterans Affairs and Rehabilitation Fund.
