Patricia A. Broden, 66, Fertile, MN, passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 16, 2021, surrounded by family at Sanford Hospital in Thief River Falls, MN.
She was born July 30, 1954 to Maynard and Doris (Mitchell) Skeie of Winger, MN.
Patricia was a dedicated mother first and foremost. She treasured her children and embraced every moment with them. She especially loved her role as Grandma. She had a vivacious personality and always made people around her laugh. She made friends everywhere she went. Patricia will always be remembered by her amazing cooking and baking abilities. She loved to host gatherings and spending time with her family and friends.
Patricia will be greatly missed by those who loved her. Those left to cherish her loving memory are two sons, Ryan (Ashley) Broden, and Aaron (Greta) Broden; one daughter, Sommar (Ryan) Kemnitz; eight grandchildren, Madison, Mavrick, Mariah, Catherine, Owen, Norah, Claire and Isla; and one sister, Wanda (Brian) Johnson. She will also be missed by her favorite companion dog Chewy.
Patricia is preceded in death by her parents, Maynard and Doris Skeie; step-father, Kenneth Bratager; and brother, Calvin Skeie.
Memorial Service: 11:00 AM, Monday, January 25, 2021 at Maple Bay Free Lutheran Church, Mentor, MN, following all of the Minnesota and CDC COVID-19 social distancing guidelines. All must wear a mask to attend.
Visitation: A walk-through visitation will take place one hour before the memorial service at the church.
