The Crookston Pirate Dance team competed at the first conference meet of the season at Hawley, and the Varsity finished fifth place while the Junior Varsity team finished third place.
Members of the teams are Junior Varsity team are Evelyn Gunderson, Kasey Fritz, Brittyn Sanders-Cole, Abi Bruley, Maddie Hanson, Keatyn Kliner, Gianna Lubarski, and Hamsini Chanda.
Members of the varsity team are Morgyn Larson, Adalyn Hanson, Avery Mathews, Makenna Kopecky, Madelyn Knutson, Avery Trudeau, Kendra Brekken, Mackenzie Funk, Calleigh Fanfulik, Leila Bautista, The team is coached by Grace Espinosa and Quinn Siegle.
The Pirates next competition will be on December 15 in Frazee.
