Ray Omar Brault – Obit

Ray Omar Brault passed away December 6, 2020 after a brief diagnosis with cancer. Ray had been residing in Coeur d’ Alene, Idaho.

Ray was born April 24, 1953 to Clarence and Elaine Brault the third of seven children and grew up near Gentilly. After graduating from high school in Crookston, he attended the Vocational Tech in Staples to study heavy equipment operation. While on the job on the Iron Range he met the love of his life, Nancy Koepke and they got married. They had twin boys, Jason and Todd. Sadly, Nancy met with a tragic accident in 1991.

For years Ray ran his own business blading township roads among other jobs.When this came to an end he took jobs as a heavy equipment operator between Idaho and Arizona where he made his home in the winter. In his free time he liked to see the his grandchildren when he could, visit with his friends and ride his Harley Davidson.

Left to mourn his passing are special friend Alex Priest, his son and daughter-in-laws; Todd (Shannon) Brault and  Jason (Angie) Brault.  David Seddon (who was like a son to him),  Diane Seddon who had a special place in his heart, grandchildren; Stormi Brault, Mattalyn Brault, Korby Brault, Kieler Brault, Connor Brouse, Brianna McDonald, Andrew McDonald; brother and sister-in-law Maurice (Shawn) Brault; sister Teri Brault and her fiancée Jery Januuszewski.

He was preceded in death by his wife Nancy; parents Elaine and Clarence Brault, sibling; Robert Brault, Walter Brault, Mike Brault and Mary Rose Sirek.

Due to Covid-19 his inurnment and Celebration of Life will be at a later date and the announcement will be forth coming.
