The National Weather Service has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Watch until 3:00 a.m. on Tuesday, September 5, for the following counties in northwest Minnesota.
Beltrami, Clay, Clearwater, Kittson, Lake of the Woods, Mahnomen, Marshall, Norman, Pennington, Polk, Red Lake, and Roseau.
A watch means conditions are right for the development of severe thunderstorms.
