The Crookston Youth Basketball Association’s 6th Grade Boys Basketball team played four games to come away with the Consolation Championship at the Ada-Borup youth basketball tournament last weekend. Crookston lost to Ada, but then turned around the day and beat Clearbrook-Gonvick, Richland ND, and the Grand Forks Nets in double overtime to claim the Consolation Championship.
Axl Page caught this monster Walleye at the Thief River Falls Dam back on June 25th. The fish was 26.25 inches long with a girth of 11.5. If you have pictures of your big catch from the summer, send them to kroxnews@gmail.com and we will post them on our website!
