ABI BRULEY WINS 2021 OX CART DAYS TALENT CONTEST

The 2021 Ox Cart Days Crookston’s Got Talent Contest was held this afternoon at Downtown Square. There were six different participants, with the top three taking home a cash prize. Talents ranged from singing, “robotic dancing,” and playing the piano. The audience was the judge based on a round of applause after all the acts.

POLK COUNTY COMMISSIONERS MEETS YOUTH ADVISORY BOARD

Earlier this year the Polk County Board of Commissioner’s approved the formation of a Youth Advisory Board (YAB) as part of Polk County Public Health. The Polk County Soybean/Corn Growers recently donated $ 1,920.00 toward the purchase of biofuels and registration for the Future Farmers of America (FFA) in Polk County to attend the national convention being held in Indianapolis, IN. Minnesota is a national leader in the production and use of biofuels, made primarily from soybean and corn oil.
