The RiverView Health and Ox Cart Days Dodgeball tournament had a huge turnout of 42 teams and over 200 kids competed in the competition on Wednesday evening at the Ray Ecklund Complex Tennis Courts on a perfect evening. There were several hundred more watching the tournament. The winners of the four age groups are below.
Crookston Youth Wrestlers had another busy weekend, with wrestlers competing in three tournaments. On Thursday, they had 11 wrestlers compete in Fosston. The Crookston Wrestling Club had a great turnout for their youth tournament on Sunday, February 25 at the Crookston High School Gymnasium. There were 294 wrestlers with 26 of them coming from Crookston. Crookston youth wrestlers competed in three duals in Barnesville on Saturday. The wrestlers got anywhere from four to five matches at this event. Crookston beat Frazee 21-18. Crookston beat Barnesville 13-12 Crookston either tied United Clay Becker 10-10 or lost 11-10. On Sunday, 15 wrestlers competed in the Fertile-Beltrami youth wrestling tournament. The results are
The Crookston Ox Cart Days Rotary Duck Drop was held this past Sunday in the Drafts Sports Bar & Grill Parking lot. The event was put on by the Crookston Rotary Club, and all proceeds from the event will stay in the community and go towards UMC Scholarships, CHS Scholarships, and Community Beautification.
