Seventeen senior girls at Crookston High School participated in a self-defense class. This is the sixth year that Leo Club Advisor Linda Morgan has organized the event. The class was instructed by Don Rasicot, Melanie Lessard, Cathy LaJesse, Tiffini Broden and Linda Morgan.
The Crookston Running Club hosted the Ox Cart Run during the Ox Cart Days festivities this summer. They recently distributed the proceeds by donating to North Country Food Bank for the Highland School Backpack Food Program ($500), to the Shoe Angel Program ($500) and to Bike Crookston ($250).
