The Crookston Pirate Volleyball team scored the most points in a set all season, but it wasn’t enough as the Climax-Fisher Knights won the match 3-0 (25-10, 25-11, 26-24) on Senior Night at the Crookston High School gymnasium. The Red Lake Falls Eagles and Climax-Fisher Knights Volleyball teams played a back-and-forth match in the first round of the Section 8A tournament. The Climax-Fisher Knights Volleyball team started each set strong and beat the Crookston Pirates by a score of 3-0 (25-12, 25-13, 25-13). FIRST SET Climax-Fisher started the set on a 7-0 run with two kills from Peyton Hoffman and two aces from Ella Paulsrud. Crookston responded with a 3-0 run to make it 7-3 Knights.
