UPDATE: 11/27/20 11:30 a.m. At approximately 5:30 a.m. today, Friday, November 27th, the Crookston Police Department was dispatched to the 400-block of South Ash on a report of a stabbing, that the victim was laying in the roadway. The Ways & Means Committee met on Monday evening with the committee moving to make additional cuts to the 2021 tax levy. The levy had previously been cut to 5 percent after the preliminary levy was set at 6 percent in September. Each percentage point in the city’s tax levy is equal to approximately $22,000.
The Crookston City Council met Monday night approving a law enforcement mutual aid agreement along with setting special assessments for 2020 street improvements and unpaid charges.
