TWO CITY COUNCIL MEMBERS RECOGNIZED AT FINAL MEETING

The Crookston City Council met on Monday night in the Council Chambers at City Hall. It was the final meeting for Councilmen Jake Fee and Bobby Baird who both lost in their reelection bids in November. Councilman Jake Fee thanked several people and alluded to Crookston being in a better place now than it was.

CITY OF CROOKSTON TO FILE PERMIT APPLICATION TO LIGHT ROBERT ST BRIDGE

The Crookston Ways & Means Committee voted Monday night to complete a permit application to light the Robert St. Bridge.  The request for the City to complete the application was made by the Downtown Crookston Development Committee (DCDP). The State of Minnesota requires such a permit application to be submitted by the local government entity.

CROOKSTON CITY COUNCIL, WAYS & MEANS COMMITTEE TO MEET MONDAY NIGHT

The Crookston City Council will meet Monday, October 12 at 7 p.m. in the Council Chambers at City Hall. There is one item on the main agenda, to a resolution to approve $176,043.45 in CARES Act Small Business grants. The consent agenda includes approving the September 28 meeting minutes, approving bills and disbursements totaling $311,312.30,
