A total of 44 youth from the Crookston area participated in the 39th Annual Crookston Lions Youth Golf Tournament at Minakwa Golf Course in Crookston on Monday. Highland School student Halle Nicholas has recently learned to sew. She made and donated 50 masks for Highland School. On Friday, she delivered the masks she sewed to the school for staff in foodservice and those operating the child care for children of essential workers. A picture of Halle with the masks is below.
The Crookston Knights of Columbus Free Throw Championship was held on Sunday at the Crookston High School gymnasium. The competition was sponsored by the Knights of Columbus Local Council #1216 of Crookston.
