One and Only of Euclid won the 2026 Crookston Lions Club Ribfest on Friday, which was held in the Downtown Square as part of Ox Cart Days. It is the second straight year that One and Only has won Ribfest. Ribfest was moved to Friday this year due to the addition of Ox Cart Days

The 2026 Ox Cart Days Festival officially kicked off on Monday evening at the Crookston Inn ballroom with the Taste of Crookston, sponsored by United Valley Bank of Crookston. The United Way of Crookston’s Chili and Soup Cook Off was held on Tuesday evening with nine contestants. The Irishman’s Shanty, Wonderful Life Foods, Eagle’s Wing, LMB Pumpkin Patch, REM, Benedictine Living Community, Georgia Belter, Golden Link Senior Center, and Polk County DAC all participated in the cook-off.
