The Crookston Pirate Boys and Girls track and field teams competed in the Heart O’ Lakes Conference indoor meet at Concordia College in Moorhead. CARTER COAUETTE ADVANCES TO STATE WRESTLING FOR 4TH TIME

The Crookston Pirate Wrestling team’s Carter Coauette won both of his matches to win the Section Championship at 172 pounds, Jose Arriaga finished third place at 152 pounds, and Riley Helgeson finished fifth place at Heavyweight as the Pirates had three placers at the Section 8A Individual Wrestling Tournament held at the Crookston High School

PIRATE WRESTLING LOSES 2 MATCHES AT BGMR TRIANGULAR

The Crookston Pirate Wrestling team had five open weights out of the 13 spots in the lineup and lost both duals at the Badger/Greenbush-Middler River triangular. Crookston lost to BGMR 66-16 and lost to Roseau 54-18. CROOKSTON VS BGMR – Crookston had five open weights and started the match having to make up 30 points.
