CHIMNEY FIRE REPORTED IN MENTOR

On Saturday, January 2 at approximately 10:10 pm, the Polk County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a chimney fire at 15647 Sandy Beach Road SE in Mentor. Richard Wendall Earl Shelton, 46 of Cleveland, OH, for felony 3rd-degree possession of methamphetamine in a school, park, or public housing zone.

AQUATIC INVASIVE SPECIES TASK FORCE PURCHASE SOLAR POWERED BOAT CLEANING STATION

The Polk County Aquatic Invasive Species (AIS) Task Force made a recent purchase to help protect waterways in Polk County.
