CROOKSTON DEVELOPMENT, POLICY & REVIEW COMMITTEE TO MEET FRIDAY

The Crookston Development, Policy & Review Committee will meet Friday, October 9 at 11 a.m. in the Council Chambers at City Hall.  The committee will be making the final review and recommendation to the Crookston City Council for the second round for the City of Crookston’s CARES Act Small Business Grants.

MN REPORTS 8 MORE DEATHS, 1,276 NEW COVID-19 CASES, 10 IN POLK COUNTY

The Minnesota Department of Health is reporting eight additional deaths, and 1,276 new cases of COVID-19, including 10 in Polk County. DEPARTMENT OF ED. ALLOWING SOME SPECTATORS AT INDOOR SPORTING EVENTS

The Minnesota State High School League has announced that the Minnesota Department of Health has given updated guidance to spectators at indoor sporting events.  Each team will be allowed up to two spectators per participant. Spectators must be separated by at least six feet between households/spectator groups, event spaces can’t exceed 25% of total capacity.

Arrest/Fire Report – Thursday, October 8, 2020

The Northwest Regional Corrections Center announced the arrests of the following individuals: Daniel Patrick Dougherty, 28 of Grand Forks, ND, for felony 5th-degree possession, procurement, or control of a controlled substance. Pavel Zarkoff, 35 of Winger, for misdemeanor domestic assault. Released on personal recognizance.
