The Minnesota Department of Health is reporting 745 new cases of COVID-19 and five deaths. This includes three new cases in both Polk and Red Lake County, four new cases in Pennington County, and one new case in both Pennington and Norman County. The USDA Farmers-to-Families Food Box pick-up in Crookston is set for Saturday, August 1st from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., or until supplies are gone. The Northwest Regional Corrections Center announced the arrests of the following individuals: Paul Michel Hlucny, 23 of Wannaska, for misdemeanor obstructing the legal process by interfering with a peace officer. Each year the graduating class at Crookston High School gets a mural painted to commemorate their graduation. Typically, members of the senior class design and paint the mural, but this year went a little differently.
