MINNESOTA REPORTS 669 NEW COVID-19 CASES AND 7 DEATHS (July 17)

The Minnesota Department of Health released the latest COVID-19 numbers and 669 new positive cases were reported, along with 7 deaths.  There were 14,671 tests conducted in the last 24 hours.  Polk County is reporting three more positive tests for a total of 93. The Northwest Regional Corrections Center announced the arrests of the following individuals: Calvin William Pletsch, 32 of Chanhassen, for a gross misdemeanor traffic violation for driving after cancelation. Released on personal recognizance.

CROOKSTON POOL TO REOPEN TUESDAY WITH A LIMITED SCHEDULE

The Crookston Community Pool will reopen on Tuesday for the first time since early this spring.  Pool Manager Cody Brekken said the pool will have a limited schedule of hours as they adjust to operating under COVID-19 procedures. “We’ll be opening up Tuesday, July 21,” said Brekken. “It will be a limited schedule to start.
