The National Weather Service in Grand Forks has extended a Severe Thunderstorm Watch to include counties in northwest Minnesota until 8:00 p.m. The Minnesota counties added to the watch including Polk, Kittson, Marshall, Pennington, Red Lake, and Roseau. The Minnesota Department of Health released the latest COVID-19 numbers and 669 new positive cases were reported, along with 7 deaths. There were 14,671 tests conducted in the last 24 hours. The Crookston Community Pool will reopen on Tuesday for the first time since early this spring.
