The Northwest Regional Corrections Center announced the arrests of the following individuals: Rey Lee Trevino IV, 33 of Crookston, for gross misdemeanor subsequent domestic assault violation. Stephanie Lori Haugtvedt, 27 of Grand Forks, ND, as a felony fugitive from another state. Released to another authority.

CROOKSTON FIGURE SKATING CLUB PRESENTS THE 2020 DREAMS ON ICE THIS WEEKEND

Figure Skating will take over the Crookston Sports Center this weekend with the 2020 Dreams on Ice presented by the Crookston Figure Skating Club.  Shows are at 6:00 p.m. Saturday, and 2:00 p.m. at the Crookston Sports Center with the theme of “The Fabulous 50’s.”  The doors will open one hour before each show.  Admission

POLK COUNTY COMMISSIONERS MEET NEW POLK COUNTY SHERIFF K9 BUFFY

The Polk County Commissioners met the Polk County Sheriff’s Office’s new K9 Buffy and handler Deputy Kyle Olson this week.  Olson, who has been with the Sheriff’s Office for six years told the commissioners he always wanted to be a K9 officer and filled them in on his background preceding the Polk County Sheriff’s Office.
