Cathedral School students went caroling today at the Villa. The students sang songs from their Christmas program last week along with Christmas carols.

The Crookston Driftbusters Snowmobile Club will hold their annual Snowmobile Safety Training Field Day on Saturday, January 4 beginning at 8:00 a.m. at the Crookston Sports Center. In order to participate in the field day, youth ages 12-15 need to complete the online course available at www.snowmobilecourse.com. The cost of the online course is $24.95.

Volunteer bell ringers for the Salvation Army were out in Crookston this week. Bell ringers included Garrett Bengston and Eli Sullivan from the Crookston Fire Department, and Cameron and Benjamin Halos from the University of Minnesota Crookston’s Delta Theta Sigma fraternity.

At approximately 10:41 a.m. on Saturday, December 21st the Grand Forks Fire Department was dispatched for a report of a fire at Wood Products at 1002 S. 46th St. Crews arrived on scene and found active fire in the Southwest corner of the building.
