Corey Strem won the 2026 Happy Joe’s Pizza and Ice Cream Parlor Ox Cart Days Pizza Eating Contest on Saturday. He finished 12 slices of pizza in seven minutes and 10 seconds. Corey will receive one large Happy Joe’s pizza a month for an entire year, and his photo will be added to their Wall
Audrey F. and Aryel G. won the Lip Sync Contest at Ox Cart Days on Friday and the $150 prize. Hazel O. finished in second place and received $100. Claire H. finished in third place and received $50. This year’s competition had 11 participants. Photos from Friday’s competition are included below.
One and Only of Euclid won the 2026 Crookston Lions Club Ribfest on Friday, which was held in the Downtown Square as part of Ox Cart Days. It is the second straight year that One and Only has won Ribfest. Ribfest was moved to Friday this year due to the addition of Ox Cart Days
The Crookston Fire Department hosted a pancake breakfast Friday morning as part of Crookston’s Ox Cart Days. Items served during breakfast included pancakes, French toast, sausage, coffee, milk, and orange juice.
