National Weather Service confirms it was windy on Saturday with area peak gusts

The National Weather Service has released the strong wind reports from Saturday, October 5 throughout northwest Minnesota and Eastern North Dakota. Any of the locations with DOT means Department of Transportation equipment and AP means Airport and those are all considered official recordings.     The top wind gust was in Devils Lake, North Dakota at 75 mph.
