PROWLERS HANG ON FOR A 5-4 WIN OVER PIRATE GIRLS HOCKEY IN SECTION SEMI

The ‘Prowler Curse’ continues as the Thief River Falls Prowlers held on to defeat the Crookston Pirates 5-4 in a Section 8A Girl’s Hockey Tournament semifinal at the Ralph Engelstad Arena in Thief River Falls. Thief River Falls mastery over the Pirates is now stretching into 11 years since Crookston has beaten a Prowler team.

ROSEAU RAMS TOO STRONG FOR PIRATE GIRL’S HOCKEY IN A 9-1 WIN

The Roseau Rams showed off their speed, passing, and strength, defeating the visiting Crookston Pirates 9-1 at the Ram Center in Roseau. Although the score might not indicate it, Crookston didn’t play all that bad, but didn’t have an answer for a team that has high talent and it is hard to see the difference
