LIGHTNING STRIKE STARTS FIRE IN RURAL CLIMAX

On Sunday, May 29, at approximately 4:55 a.m., the Polk County Sheriff’s Office received report of a possible fire at 38026 33oth Avenue SW of Climax. AUTHORITIES CHASE CAR FROM GRAND FORKS TO CROOKSTON, SUSPECT GOT AWAY

Early Tuesday (April 19), the Polk County Sheriff’s Office was contacted by Grand Forks County Dispatch who advised the Grand Forks Police Department was in pursuit of a vehicle that was coming into Polk County. Grand Forks units terminated their pursuit at the state line and the vehicle continued west on Polk County Road 9.
