On Saturday, September 7 the Polk County Sheriff’s Office was dispatched to Riverview ER in Crookston for an 18-year-old male who had an apparent gunshot wound. Deputy’s arrived and made contact with the male victim. He was being treated for minor injuries as a result of an accidental discharge of his firearm while hunting geese.
The Polk County Commissioners have approved the entering into a lease agreement with Enterprise Fleet Management for the Polk County Sheriff’s Office, with a separate agreement for other county vehicles expected soon.
